Our local farm has been in the family since 1935.
At the Mills Family Farm, we’re keeping the tradition of family farming alive. Since 1935, we have run our farm on the same land here in Mooresville, North Carolina. We strive to be good stewards of this land and to support the public, and we hope to continue our family business for many more generations.
Our local farm primarily focuses on raising cattle and producing high-quality beef. We raise our cattle on grass pastures for beef and supply many restaurants in the area with our local beef products. You can visit our local farm to pick up custom meat cuts for your dinner table or take a farm tour and shop our store. Our farm store is where you can buy individual cuts of beef and pork, as well as pick up eggs, jams, jellies, honey, and other products from local suppliers.
We take good care of our land and the cattle raised on it. All of our cattle are raised on and fed a custom veterinary diet designed with a complete mineral and vitamin mix. This provides thorough nutrition and results in increased tenderness and flavor. This is a big reason why restaurants and retail chains are always eager to become part of our growing supply network.
